Riverwalk, Chattanooga Style

One of the focal points of Chattanooga is the city's 13 mile long path along Tennessee River.

A river is a powerful attraction, one that some cities do not fully utilize, though Chattanooga is not guilty of that oversight. the city has made sure to leave great green spaces and nice paths along the waterway. Walk along and you might even counter a pair of the local waterfowl.

While we walked, we even spotted the some children taking advantage of the bank along the walk.

Yep, grab some cardboard and have some fun on a summer day. It's all part of the vibrancy of Chattanooga: natural and human beauty and wonder mixed together. It's a place you cannot visit for a day. If you want to see a lot that the city offers, plan to visit for days. That's what we did for a second stay, but that's another story and post.
