House of Plants, Part Two: From Palms to Aroids

As we wandered from the Palm House, we passed through the Show House and briefly took a look in the Horticulture Hall, and then back through the Show House to reach the Aroid House. Along the way, I took several photos of the flowering plants.

Yellow Bloom

Beside the blooms, the Show House was also spotlighting an sculpture exhibit. It would be quite easy to walk through and not pay much attention to the displayed work, but the exhibit very seamlessly interconnects the art with the environment in an elegant fashion.

A Closer Look

Flowers are sometimes very normal-looking, but then sometimes, a plant creates something a bit out of the ordinary.

Not Your Everyday Houseplant

The Aroid House also offers something else to view, a small pond, which some animals call home.
