Last night, I went through some of the recent photos on Astronomy Picture of the Day. On November 30th, the site showed an amazing photo of a thunderstorm supercell over eastern Montana. The image was captured by Sean R. Heavey, who has a web site, which appears to have an intriguing blend of photography collections that focus on many different topics: forgotten Montana, storms, and people.
In a covergence to a recent post, the thunderstorm photo by Heavey was entered into the National Geographic Photography Contest. You can click and vote on Heavey's work and others in the gallery. Voting closes December 10th.
