First Look

Excluding the long 13-mile trail, Trillium is the longest in the park. Due to its length, we didn't transverse much of the trail last year, however this instant, we gave ourselves the time to visit.

The trail is particularly noted for its spring wildflowers, yet we didn't see that many flowers compared to last year. Still, the trail offered its own new discoveries.

  1. Some great pictures, Bill! I do hope you and Sandra are enjoying Nashville--it's really such a great place to live! I enjoy the diversity, the music, the events. Also glad to see you both enjoy the Shawnee National Forest. I find it to be a lovely place! Garden of the Gods is one of my favorite places to go. You both should check it out. So good to see you posting and enjoying your life. Do you write any poetry these days?

  2. Oh, forgot to mention The Farewell Drifters were at ROMP in Owensboro, but we (my friends/co-workers and I) got stuck in traffic and just got there in time to see Steve Martin & The Steep Canyon Rangers (commented down below on your experience at Station Inn and suggested you catch some shows at Exit/In). I am so glad you are finally listening to and appreciating music again! I do remember how you never wanted to discuss music nor listen to it. It is such a powerful experience!

  3. I really like The Farewell Drifters, especially how they combined some familiar currents of music and made it fresh. They are a great band to hear. Catch them when you can.

My creative outlet has mainly been the blog--taking photos and writing about some happenings. I'm always perpetually behind...I take so many photos that it takes time to go through them all.

    Thanks for stopping by.
